Greetings Troop 125:

Please let the Troop know if you will be attending this camping trip by Tuesday 21-March. Cost will be $25. Please do your best to come with your backpack to the Troop meeting this Monday.
I hope to have Scouts meet at the church at 6:30 PM Friday night to head to the park. We would return by 3:00 PM Sunday.

This should be another great camping trip to accomplish the following:

Cooking MB / Rank requirements
Camping MB requirements
Shake down hiking (flat terrain) for Philmont.

I hope to see the Scouts there. We will work on Personal Management MB and Citizenship in the Community MB.
Plus rank advancement for 2nd and 1st class scouts. I hope scouts will be prepared to give their reports on the environmental issue they selected.

Hiking along the Houston Bayou Trails (yep another Shakedown Philmont hike for some Scouts) with dinner at a restaurant TBD. Probably a lock in overnight at the Church (games all night!)
